A little about me

I’m Barney, a 12 year-old Labrador Retriever.  I live with my Mom and furry sister, Angel, in Frisco, Texas, a suburb north of Dallas. Mom often tells us that she loves us with all of her heart, and I know it’s true!

As I grew older, my Mom discovered that I have a pretty severe case of hip dysplasia.  The pain was getting debilitating.  But luckily for me, Mom heard about a ground-breaking procedure that helps animals with joint pain.  Veterinarians are now able to obtain stem cells from fat tissue and inject them into damaged joints.

I’m my Mom’s very first dog and she spoils me rotten!  I love to play Frisbee and I’ll fetch anything you throw my way.  I also love to sleep on the bed, or on the couch, or on any other fluffy pillow I can find.

I had the procedure, and the results are truly amazing!  Mom noticed an improvement in my mobility just three days after the procedure.  And two weeks later, I was trotting around the house and yard.

Mom was so excited about my improvement that she decided to create this website to spread the word about the new stem cell technology.  She really loves animals and is always looking for ways to help them.  Barney’s story.
